I haven't participated in MS Cupcake Club for a while. I've been baaaaad. SO I decided to get back into the swing of things and bake the chocolate chip cupcakes. Every month a cupcake recipe is picked from the Martha Stewart Cupcake book and everyone in the club bakes that recipe and posts it on their blog. This month, our challenge was chosen by The Baking Sisters.
I love chocolate chip cookies so I knew I wanted to make these. They were good, BUT....I think too much chocolate for my taste. I'm not really a dark chocolate kind of girl. I'm really glad I got to try them. If you like dark chocolate, you will LOVE these.
If you would like to try these, take a visit to Martha's site. You can find the frosting recipe there too. I would strongly suggest the Martha Stewart Cupcake book. It has so many awesome recipes in it.
Enjoy!

Looks super yummy! :) Welcome Back!
Thanks for baking along. I also thought the frosting was a bit too much and I am a dark chocolate person. I wonder how these would taste with milk chocolate. Yum!
This isn't my favourite cupcake either...I found them kind of dry the first time I made them. But the words "too much chocolate" have never, ever entered my mind.
these look yummy!
We welcome you back with open arms! Thanks for baking with us! Even if the chocolate was a bit dark for your taste, I hope you had no trouble finding takers! Your pictures look so pretty. Perfect for Valentine's Day!
I love dark chocolate, these look wonderful!
Yours look luscious-I used a combination of milk, semi sweet and dark chocolate chips-it had a nice taste to it. Your cupcakes baked up perfectly too.
Oh I'd love these - love the way you decorated them.
They look fantastic.. the frosting looks especially yummy.
