Junior's Famous Cheesecake

Yesterday we had a barbeque and had our mom's over and my sister-in-law. My mother-in-law, Diane, LOVES cheesecake. And I have been wanting to try this cheesecake ever since I bought the Junior's Cheesecake Recipe Book.

It was slightly more work than my regular cheesecake recipe, but WELL worth it. There are many crusts to choose from in the recipe book. I decided to go with the Brownie Shortbread Crust. Juniors famous cheesecake actually has a sponge cake crust that I didn't try. I will definately try it next time. I wasn't crazy for the chocolate shortbread crust.

But the cheesecake........it was the BEST cheesecake I EVER tasted. And it came out perfectly. No cracks in the top. I had never baked a cheesecake in a water bath before, but that is how the recipe instructs you to bake it.

You will NOT be disappointed. I recommend the recipe book. It has so many wonderful sounding recipes that I plan to try. But if you just want to try the plain cheesecake (and it is anything but plain), I found the recipe here.
