MS Cupcake club held a bonus challenge for the 4th of July. I decided to bake up some 4th cupcakes for the girls at work. We are always up for something sweet.
Wellll......to be honest, I did not love these cupcakes. I thought they were very dense and a little dry. :-0 Sorry Martha!!!! But if you would like to try your luck at them, you can find the recipe on page 226 in the Martha Stewart Cupcakes Cookbook.
But they came out pretty with my favorite buttercream on top in the colors of red, white and blue.

They look yummy. You wouldn't even be able to tell that they were dense. I need to purchase that book...lol. I hope you and your family are having a wonderful 4th :)
Yours are beautiful. I didn't use a Martha recipe on mine, because I have found so many of them to be dense. I am sure people enjoyed them though.
